The Griffin Armament HRT-556™ is a compact, hard-use 5.56 suppressor originally developed to meet the demanding requirements of elite HRT units. Designed around Griffin’s proven DUAL-LOK® mounting system and advanced ECO-FLOW™ baffle technology, the HRT-556 delivers an exceptional balance of sound suppression, flash reduction, durability, and reduced gas blowback.
Built for professional and enthusiast shooters alike, the HRT-556 utilizes a rugged construction of 17-4PH stainless steel and 718 Inconel, providing outstanding strength and heat resistance under sustained firing schedules. Its compact footprint and lightweight design make it ideal for SBRs, duty rifles, and general-purpose 5.56 platforms where maneuverability and reliability are critical.
The suppressor's patented ECO-FLOW™ baffle system helps minimize backpressure, reducing gas blowback to the shooter while improving firearm reliability and cyclic performance. Combined with a low-profile flash-suppressing end cap, the HRT-556 significantly reduces visible muzzle flash, making it an excellent choice for low-light and tactical applications.
The DUAL-LOK® active retention system ensures a secure, repeatable lockup with minimal point-of-impact shift, giving shooters confidence that the suppressor will remain firmly attached even during extended firing sessions.
